Dyslexic Dislike
Am I capable of mending the relationship I have with my dyslexia? For this project I take into consideration (alongside my thesis), the harmful practices that different institutions – family, education and medicine – had on my relationship with dyslexia (focusing on its more social and emotional aspects rather than medical).
This conversation is also explored artistically through the medium of performance and costume design. Where I created a wearable representation to embody the relationship with my dyslexia in an effort to mend.

Mother & Child
We always talk about children with ADHD, Autism, Depression, etc. but we never look at the parents. This project looks at mental disabilities within parents. The performance tells the story of the miscommunication between mother and child, based on personal experiences of the artists.

My alter ego is my suppressed fear that I have lost my passion for helping the environment. This fear was always in the back of my head since moving from Rio, to a city where everything seems orgnized, it has now come to life to huant me in Rotterdam where I live, places I go by and on my way to school. This monster made out of 100% recycled materials wants to confront me but ended up consuming me as you can still see my body inside the costume.
